Goodwood 2023 Trackday Thank you!

Thankyou for making the day special!

Goodwood 2023

A warm and heartfelt thank you to all of you that supported our exclusive Goodwood 2023 track day on the 3rd of this month. Once again, I was thrilled at the turnout and quality of the cars that were entered. The standard of driving is a testament to the respect you have for each other and for the fine pieces of engineering we enjoy. For the few that experienced minor mechanical issues (mainly vintage) we respect your determination throughout the day to grasp the last few hours of circuit time before the light faded. Personally, I feel the day was fantastic, with just under 40 amazing cars and 80 guests for lunch, we couldn’t have bought a finer mix of like minded car lovers together. These track meets are made successful by you and to see our friends, clients and dealers together for such a day makes us proud to organise the event on an annual basis. From my hardworking and supportive team – Thank you all for making the day special!

See the action…

In case you missed them on the day…

Martin Roach – Ghost Writer

You may recall at the drivers’ briefing that I introduced you to a friend of our business, Martin Roach. Martin has written and produced some of the most fascinating books in the automotive and celebrity sector, including writing with Nigel Mansell, David Coulthard and Bugatti, among dozens of other bestselling titles. As a ghostwriter, Martin will work with you to produce your own exclusive story around you and your cars, creating a documented history of ‘your life in cars’ that adds personal value to what you own and why you own it; he will then project-manage the design and production of a limited run of exclusive, private copies for friends and family… every petrol head’s dream – surely! We are happy to connect you, he really is worth talking to.

John Mayhead – Classic Car enthusiast and editor of the Hagerty Price Guide

You may or may not have spoken to John but you will remember the back up of traffic behind his beautiful little black 1946 MG TC ‘Goldie’ on the track. John owns this gorgeous piece of fascinating history and as a writer himself, will shortly be releasing his book entitled ‘Goldie’ which tells the wonderful history of this superb motorcar. Once again, John has been a great ambassador for our business assisting in correctly valuing the cars we are asked to finance, often enabling the transactions to actually happen. A vital resource for us all and an encyclopedia on international historic car values. We are happy to send you a free Hagerty Price Guide if you call the office.
