Goodwood has a formidable reputation as a fast and uncompromising race circuit. The Porsche 993 GT2 also has a formidable reputation in that is is also fast and uncompromising.

Harry Metcalfe is no mean pedaller and his Porsche 911 993″GT2″is clearly track-focused and rapid so it is very interesting to see how he and the car compare with a variety of different machinery at the Goodwood circuit. If you haven’t been out on a trackday before then this should really convince you to give it a go – we certainly wish we’d been out there with him although the Classic & Sports Finance FIA MGBs would undoubtedly have had a bit of trouble keeping up…..
