Is now the time to buy?

Is now the time to buy? The feedback from our dealer partners is very mixed, with some indicating slow sales and others confirming a good, but not high turnover of sales year to date. From our perspective we are fortunate to see all sectors of activity in the car market and identify what is and isn’t moving so well. The Porsche product has always and continues to be very active at certain levels. In fact, any supercar or classic with a limited production number or being exclusive in its rarity will always remain salable.

So, is the cost-of-living crisis affecting the high-end of the motor industry or is it the cost of borrowing that is making the squeeze? My own thoughts are that neither are directly responsible for a “slow” market but rather, as in the past, uncertainty around “should I or shouldn’t I” buy? It is undeniable that there is a shortage of the right cars and a glut of the norm, but I feel there has also been a significant shift in a buyer’s appetite for certain cars. Either way, I do feel this could be a time to get into that ambition car and open dialogue with the seller. Some cars are looking good value as listed below, but the key is – talk to the seller and work something out!

Porsche 996 (911) Turbo

Available at Williams Crawford

35,338 miles.

Finished in Lapis Blue metallic over Savannah Beige full leather.

These 996 Turbo cars are still great value for the performance they deliver. I firmly feel these will move soon, so now would be a good time to find a well maintained good colour combination car.

Talk to the dealer about this – a nice example.
