Maserati Shamal
The Maserati Shamal was Maserati’s range-topper at the time and had a reputation for being a bit of a handful – or a driver’s car as we now call them…
Styled by Gandini and with a similar power output to a Porsche 911 Turbo, Maserati made very few of these luxurious V8 3.2 litre twin-turbocharged GTs. As well as making them a rare sight it also ensured that values didn’t dip as low as those of its stablemates and prices have certainly advanced in the last few years.
Harry borrows one from Cotswold Collector Cars and talks us through the pros and cons of ownership and what they are like to drive.
