We’d like to say a big thanks to Rupert Lewin and John Bussell for an incredible day at Donington last Thursday.

Rupert provided the use of his mighty Porsche 996 GT2 and John his skill and support from the passenger seat for an unforgettable and very wet day on the recently finished circuit. It really put things into perspective for us: the 996 is such a capable machine, incredibly agile and with a top speed just short of 200 mph isn’t short on poke. All the more amazing when you consider it’s ten years old, and you could pick up a similar car for around £38,000. That’s not a lot of money for what is essentially a race car for the road. We even managed to keep it on the asphalt all day!

These days are important to us because they keep us in touch with the market and give us inspiration when it comes to making suggestions and recommendations to clients.
