Despite George Osborne’s gloomy Autumn Statement, Classic and Sports Finance have had the busiest November in four years. There has been little change on the High Street in terms of desire to lend, but we have seen a significant increase in business in the car finance sector and this is being bolstered by our strong relationships with second tier lenders such as merchant and private banks who are willing to finance more specialist items. These include non road-registered race cars.

If you are considering a new classic, sports or race car now is the time to look at buying and funding, especially during the traditionally quiet winter months. A word of advice though – enquiries are coming in thick and fast, and quality stock is becoming more scarce.
