About the Rolls-Royce 25/30:
Rolls Royce made around 1200 25/40 cars between 1936 and 1938. It is powered by an in-line six engine of 4,257cc with single Stromberg downdraught carburettor and four speed gearbox.
When purchased new, only the chasis and mechanical parts were made by Rolls Royce. Bodywork was provided by the likes of Freestone & Webb, Park Ward, Thrupp & Maberly, H. J. Mulliner & Co., Arthur Mulliner and Hooper.
The Rolls Royce 25/30 was replace by the Wraith in 1938.
About this Rolls-Royce 25/30:
A handsome and appealingly ‘out of the ordinary’, semi ‘razor edge’ saloon, in original and correct condition, albeit in need of some attention. The car sports a lovely set of lamps & horns, including lovely P100 headlamps and stylish sidelights, twin side-mounted spare wheels and a very impressive original set of tools, nicely mounted in the boot lid.
Interior-wise, the car is very nice, with brown leather to the front, beige cloth to the rear, headlining and carpets all in excellent condition. Just imported from the USA, but now back on its original UK registration number ELK132.

“What you could most definitely call a ‘real car’ for the price of a modern BMW 3 Series. That tool kit is wonderful, too.”
