Introduced in 1996, the 550 Maranello reintroduced a front engine, rear wheel drive, 2 seater, V12 GT car to the Ferrari range. With it’s 5.5 litre V12 engine underneath that long handsome bonnet, the 550 Maranello was a Daytona for the modern man. In 2002 Ferrari replaced the 500 with the 575, increasing engine displacement of the V12 to 5.75 litres. Along with the larger engine, the 575M (M for mofidicato / modified) featured a renewed interior, bigger brakes, better weight distribution, refined aerodynamics and adaptive suspension. The 575M was offered with a choice of either manual or ‘F1’ semi-automatic 6 speed gearbox, the semi-automatic being a first for a Ferrari v12. The whole package offered 515hp, a top speed of 199mph and a 0-60 time of just 4.2 seconds.

Any 575M is a desirable car in it’s own right, but just 182 ‘F1’ cars were delivered to the UK.

This particular Ferrari 575M F1 Maranello is a 2003 model in Blue Tour de France with a Beige interior, blue contrasting stitching, blue carpets and blue scuro dashboard and steering wheel. The options specified were the ‘Scuderia’ Ferrari shields and the modular 19” wheels.

It has covered just 35,200 miles with 5 owners, with a full service and cam belt change done in May 2017. This car has been cared for throughout it’s life by reputable independent Ferrari specialists and boasts a Capristo exhaust system.

575M Maranello F1  – The Dealer’s Final Word:

“The Ferrari 575M is the last of the iconic and less technological Ferrari V12s and will only increase in value as they get tucked away in collections.”
