This desirable early steel bodied, dry sump, right hand drive, matching numbers Ferrari 308 GTB was delivered to it’s first owner on 3rd November 1977.
It was specified in Rosso Chiaro with Nero leather and features an optional front spoiler. It moved to a new owner in Brighton in 1982, before being sold to a gentleman, Mr White, from Swindon in 1984. Mr White moved to the warmer climes of California in 1985 and took his Ferrari 308 GTB with him, where it stayed with until 2016.
CARS UK reimported the car and sent it to Nick Cartwright Specialist Cars for a thorough going over. There it was given a complete services as well as a fresh coat of Rosso Chiaro paint on the exterior.
It shows just 32,900 miles covered by the three previous owners, making this a rare low mileage example with excellent history. The car can be commended on it’s originally, largely thanks to that Californian sunshine!
It still has it’s original space saving alloy wheel, tool kit, books and service folder along with California registration plate.Finance this car
“A wonderful opportunity to acquire a stunning, matching numbers, early steel bodied example of Ferrari’s first V8 production car – a perfect useable choice for summer motoring.”
“The Ferrari 308 is a 70’s/80’s dream car, and low mileage examples are getting rare. There is something truly iconic about this shape of this Ferrari, a sort of innocence within the design. By modern standards the wheels look small and the suspension high, but proportionally it’s wonderful to look at. Those of you who are my age will instantly think Magnum P.I… White trousers and no socks, anyone?”
