This Bentley Speed Six is number 20 of 182 produced, a rare matching number example still only in it’s sixth ownership from new. Originally sold to preferred Bentley client Noel van Raalte, a wealthy playboy, keen racing driver and gent famous in Bentley circles. He was a passionately ‘Bentley Boy’, owning a number of the cars including the first production 3 litre.
More recently the car has had a total restoration to the highest standard, copying the 1930 No.2 Team car for Le Mans, GF 8570. The ‘no expense spared’ restoration was undertaken to retain the original integrity by Bentley specialist Wayne Huckle, using incredible attention to detail to turn this car into ‘one of the very best Speed Sixes that has ever been available for sale’.Finance this car
“This an opportunity that rarely presents itself. A chance to experience a proper example of arguably the very best car ever produced by the great engineering establishment that is Bentley Motors. “
We just adore these Grandfathers of the road. I am privilaged to have been invloved with six significant Bentley purchases this year and just love that call when we get it. My first thought is “which one is this, have I seen it before?” These take skill to underwrite but we know our way around them and the market that supports. With the centenary next year, now is the time to join the Bentley boys and girls and the lifestyle it holds a pass to.
